Her voice is perfect for this rock pop sound. Her duets with Dua Lipa, Billy Idol, and Joan Jett are my favs. ❤️

Being someone who lived start to finish through the 80’s, this album does bring me back but isn’t so retro that it just copies the early 80’s and late 70’s. It still sounds new and current. The inspiration is there and doesn’t hide. Even a duet with Billy Idol. This album is fully realized. After many singles and EP’s from Miley, it’s nice to see a full album. The album has the many sides of Miley. A bit punk, a bit rock, a bit country and songs that are true belters. One song in particular, “High” is one of her best songs ever. A true belter with her country influence and filled with the heart breaking feelings of a love that had to end but still lingers.

I’m not even a huge fan of the rock and roll genre, and I was a little nervous for this album, but I was shocked with the first track. It was amazing. Every song is single worthy. Deserves a grammy.
